Joe DeRosa got his start in stand-up comedy hitting open mic nights at the Laff House in Philadelphia, and it wasn’t long before he made the jump to New York City to take the stage as a full-time funnyman. A regular performer at famed New York venues such as Caroline's, Stand-up New York, the Laugh Factory, and Gotham Comedy Club, Joe has also appeared on "Last Call with Carson Daly," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and the "New Faces" showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival. In June 2010, his first stand-up album, “a dark gem of satirical brilliance,” The Depression of Auction, was released on Comedy Central Records. Recently, DeRosa has had guest spots on the IFC series "Z-Rock," and HBO’s “Bored To Death,” as well as becoming a recurring jokester on The Opie & Anthony Show and Fox New’s Red Eye. This past year, Joe made is directorial debut with the film Shooting Angels, which starred himself, Bill Burr, Robert Kelly, and Colin Quinn. If that weren’t enough, Joe is currently busy touring clubs around the country, and his new album, Return of the Son of Depression Auction, was recently released. Don’t miss him!
