Jeremy Essig: Jan 26-29
A decade later, Essig has developed an act that was described by Nuvo Magazine as “Intelligent Cynicism.” The act is a mixture of stories stemming from Essig’s real-life experiences mixed with social and pop culture commentary.
While Crackers regulars may remember his appearance last April with Brian Posehn. Essig has also appeared multiple times on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show and released three CD’s which have received airplay on XM/Sirius Radio. He also appeared in the 2003 Boston Comedy Festival and was featured in St. Louis Magazine as a comic to watch.
A native of Zanesville, OH, Essig now resides in St. Louis where he has been a fixture on the city’s thriving comedy scene since 2004. Essig has also begun tying up loose ends, completing his long delayed Master’s Degree at the University of Missouri while still doing over 200 shows a year. An accomplished writer, his opinion pieces have been featured in the Columbia Missourian, The Riverfront Times and Velocity magazine.
